Article Banks - A Rich Source of Topics and Ideas
For those who know me long enough, I author a few blogs ranging from cooking, travel to legal and financial matters. One of the benefits of having multiple blogs across different niches is that I would always have something to write about. Even so, there could be times when the inspiration seems to elude me for that day or week. When I am stuck on that, one of the places I go to for inspiration would be article banks.
Why Article Banks?
Many bloggers submit articles to article banks or directories for varied reasons. This could range from getting noticed as a writer with authority to creating links to the author’s site. There are literally tens (or hundreds?) of sites containing articles and thousands of articles submitted. You can never run out of articles to get inspiration from.
Ease of Search
Since I write a blog related to financial and legal matters, searching for articles which are relevant to my blog’s topics would be easier as these sites are properly indexed and search friendly. You can go to its sub-directories to look for articles which are relevant without having to spend time going from blog to blog or digging through forum questions. Read on »

Awesome Free Blogger Templates
It is by chance that I stumbled upon Suck My Lolly’s Free Blogger Designs. The designs are colourful with a keen sense of colour matching and there are clear instructions on how to install the templates into Blogger. I think the designs are more suited for female bloggers as the blogger templates they seem to have a certain feminine look to it, especially the cartoons of women in most of the headers.

In recent months, there has been a movement towards the minimalist look for blogs. Clean lines, clutter-free and minimal ads appear to find favour amongst many bloggers and redesigning of blogs to a minimalist look is fast taking trend. Deliver Your Site’s Feeds To Mobile Phone Subscribers
Blogsreview.Net is now officially live on mobile phones courtesy of the FeedM8 Publisher Network. Signing up is free and my subscribers can now choose to Get Mobile Version of my posts. I have always emphasized making full use of feeds to publicise my sites and this is an innovative way to do so.
Signing up is very simple indeed. You just need to provide your email as well as your site’s url. After that, just copy and paste a code onto your site. When your prospective subscribers click on the link, a form will pop up which will provide the special feed url for the subscriber to use in his / her mobile phone to access your site. As shown in the image above, this service (which is also free to subscribers) is currently only available to mobile phone users in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Israel.
