Awesome Free Blogger Templates
It is by chance that I stumbled upon Suck My Lolly’s Free Blogger Designs. The designs are colourful with a keen sense of colour matching and there are clear instructions on how to install the templates into Blogger. I think the designs are more suited for female bloggers as the blogger templates they seem to have a certain feminine look to it, especially the cartoons of women in most of the headers.
These are a sample of 3 of the free blogger templates available at Suck My Lolly (kinda suggestive title, don’t you think so?).

My Third Dot.Com
Gasp! What began as One dot.com in January this year has now grown to Three dot.coms in less than 10 months. And those three are but part of my other blogs (I have 2 active ones and 2 inactive ones in Blogger) which makes it SEVEN websites in all. Is it worth it? Well, these Three dot.coms are paid through earnings I make online - advertisement and such. So, I have not been out of pocket. That gives me the assurance that what I am doing is still a hobby which need not incur any expenses to me as far as taking out cash is concerned.
The stuffs I learnt by diversifying my types of blogs have been tremendous. I have blogs ranging from personal thoughts to food recipes to hotel sites to blogging and now, my new venture. Having diversified blogs help me to keep my brains ticking, ensured that I read more and learn new information every day. It enhances by knowledge.
Having diversified blogs enabled me to get to know bloggers and readers with different interests and this also resulted in a bigger network of friends. Naturally, the exchange of views pertaining to what I have blogged also benefited me. In fact, a couple of online friends have even contacted me for professional consultation.
Get A Review From SkellieWag
Remembered I previously posted on how I have been inspired by Skellie to declutter this blog of mine? And following some comments and enquiries made by me in her blog, she emailed to me to comment on how this new blog looked to her followed by a chat session over Gmail which also led to find a direction for this blog culminating in my views on how to enjoy blogging?
Skellie now offers a free clutter-busting review of your blog or website beginning the 5th September, 2007. You will get personalized email reviews of your blog or website, with a focus on simplicity and clutter removal tailored to you. Head on over to her site. Oh by the way, Skellie also contributes to Daily Blog Tips and has previously posted in Problogger as a guest blogger.
Weekend Speedlinking
I’m tired. How the week has passed and it is now the weekend again. This week has been eventful for the reason that I’ve been fighting a bug which has been trying to make me sick and I’ve taken the bold step of changing the theme of this blog from a theme riddled (or shall we say - “made for adsense“) with adverts to the current theme, which has less adverts.
I also made contact with some blogging personalities new to me - Skellie of Skelliewag.Org and Michael of Pro Blog Design and a combination of their posts have actually inspired me to make the changes mentioned above. I was also requested to do a review for Pearl of Interesting Observations (though I wonder why the domain is named “fresh-perspectives.net”). I think I am unable to do a full review for now but I did read her justifications of why she prefers blogging at night. Pretty interesting but I think it varies from individual to individual. According to one of my blogging gurus, Costa, it doesn’t really matter because when the blogger’s block hits, STOP! Sometimes as a blogger, we find ourselves obliged to squeeze in a post to satisfy our readers. We feel that if we don’t, we will let our readers down. Do you have that kind of feeling? I do sometimes.
So, I am not going to blog this weekend. Instead, I am publishing this post in advance. Oh, just so in case you didn’t realise, I won’t be able to post this weekend in any event because I ain’t connected to the net from home. Woohoo! Yeah, you bet. It’s my being obliged that’s why this post is up. But seriously, those are good reading up there. Recommended from me
